Covering an area of nearly 100 hectares of nautral and constructed wetland.
Kinnairds Wetlands is part of a scheme designed to naturally enhance water quality through the Muckatah Depression. Just after the rains, birdlife abounds at Kinnairds Wetlands, where you can while away some time in the bird hires, or take a leisurely stroll along one of the boardwalks. There is a sheltered area at the entrance to Kinnairds, but there are no toilet facilities.
A range of constructed trails suitable for walking and cycling, boardwalks, bird hides and picnic areas give you the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful diversity of wetland and woodland, which provides habitat for a variety of wildlife.
